Orange gets a LOT of attention during Halloween.
And yes, pumpkins are cute, but sometimes I want Halloween decor that looks a little darker and less... pumpkin patch.
Black and white does exactly that.
The color combination is simple enough that you can go crazy with skeletons, spiderwebs, stripes and ghosts without making everything look too busy.
It can be creepy.

Black and white Halloween decor proves you really don't need every traditional Halloween color in one room.
Two colors are doing plenty here.
You can keep things chic with lace, candles and white pumpkins or completely lose control and cover your ceiling in hundreds of bats.
Both are acceptable.
I love that even the food, invitations and favors can follow the same color story without getting boring.
So, if orange isn't really your thing this year, leave it at the pumpkin patch.
Black, white and something slightly creepy will handle the party just fine. :)
